What Makes Inkling Mystery Boxes Different Than Others?

Inkling Mystery Boxes are different in 3 ways:

  • Majority of the stationery items are handmade instead of mass produced.
  • You can get stationery items and Open When Letters in your Mystery Box.
  • The items are packaged in recyclable kraft paper so that when it is opened, it is truly a surprise to you. Most "Mystery Boxes" or "Mystery Scoops" pick out mystery items that are shown on the camera and then simply boxed up, but when you receive an Inkling Mystery Box, you get to rip open each mystery item. Think Christmas meets kraft wrapping paper.

Do You Put Repeat Items In Mystery Boxes?

Typically, no. The higher amount is chosen and the lower amount item is exchanged for something else. For example, if Mystery Pick #1 is (3x Pens) and Mystery Pick #2 is (2x Pens), the three will be kept, and the 2 pens will be replaced with something else. However, if there is a Mystery Pick such as (3x Bookmarks) and another one is (2x Bookmarks), this Mystery Pick may still be kept if there are various designs that do not overlap with each other. In other words, there no repeats of the same exact item/design, the higher amount of the two is kept and the lower amount item is replaced. If there are various designs, repeat items with different designs may be kept.

Nope! One of the main things Inkling values is real human connection. So if you order a handwritten letter from Inkling, there's a real human behind it. No two letters are alike. These letters are not mass-produced, they only exist when you order them.
